This month’s Yin class will be themed on the season of summer, a time of brightness, fullness and fruition. Summer is represented by the classical element ‘fire’ in Traditional Chinese Medicine symbolising warmth, expansion, joy and connection.
This class will begin with some gentle flowing movement followed by a slow and mindful 'Yin' practice where poses are held and muscles are deeply relaxed. Meditation and breathing and practices will be woven in throughout and the session with be rounded off with pure relaxation.
This class is online via zoom. It would be useful to have some items to hand that can be used as props, such as a yoga bolster or cushions, a blanket and yoga blocks if you have them.
