Would you like to expand your awareness of the mind body connection and how yoga can relate to psychology?
In this workshop we’ll introduce the chakra energy system and use it as a metaphor to consider where we may have balance or imbalance in the mind and body. You will discover how yoga can help you to feel more balanced in different aspects of your life and what areas you may need to give some extra attention to.
We will work through each Chakra highlighting its relevance through posture sequences, breathwork, guided visualisation and meditation.
●Experience grounding into a sense of stability in order to find freedom to move more fluidly and gracefully.
●Tune into bodily sensations and bring a greater awareness to your feelings and emotions.
●Consider the self: your motivations and inner drive through intention setting, and your ability to yield into softness and find connection.
●Explore sound and listening attentively. Develop your creativity, intuition and clarity of purpose, leading to greater inner wisdom.
