Autumn is a time for letting go, shedding what we no longer need and making space ahead of the fallow period of winter. During this time we can appreciate the natural cycles of life, the beauty of the seasonal colours and nature's ability to reset and regenerate.
This slow and mindful autumn themed yin yoga practice will combine gentle movement with long held stretches where muscles are deeply relaxed. Meditation and breathing exercises will be woven in throughout and the session with be rounded off with pure relaxation.
It would be useful to have some items to hand that can be used as props, such as a yoga bolster or cushions, a blanket and yoga blocks if you have them.
